NSUT (Netaji Subhas University of Technology) is a technical college and offers B.E./M.Tech/ and Doctoral courses to the aspirants. Admission to these courses is given on the basis of the entrance examination. NSUT follows an academic curriculum that is based on the semester system. The academic session is divided into Odd Semester (August-December) and Even Semester (January-June). The term-end semester examination is conducted at the end of each semester i.e. in the month of December (Odd Semester) and in the month of May-June (Even Semester).

The placement session start from July every year and many companies visit the campus to take student. Many companies are from IT background so if anyone is having good coding skills ,they will offer them at least of 8-9 lakhs on an average per year.but for core branches ,the placement is not good enough they need to rely on non.tech companies to be hired.
