IIT Guwahati inaugurated its 2020-21 placement season on December 1, 2020. The entire process was conducted online, wherein a total of 69 offers were made. On Day-2, a total of 486 offers were made which also included 133 pre-placement offers (PPOs). The packages for domestic offers have witnessed a sharp rise to about INR. 70 LPA this year. The highest domestic package offered this year is said to be higher in comparison to last year’s INR. 52 LPA. Almost 600 students have been already been placed.
